The leading National Professional Society for the Technical Education System in India, ISTE is dedicated to the career development of teachers and personality development of students. As a strategic partner of AICTE, ISTE organises Professional Refinement Programmes for faculty members across all AICTE-approved institutions. It operates as a premier agency under MHRD, AICTE, MIT, and International Projects.
SAE India is an affiliate of SAE International — a non-profit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of the mobility community in India. Comprising engineers, executives, government officials, academics, and students, SAE India places principal emphasis on automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle industries. It organises international meetings, exhibitions, and technical events that bring global experts together.
Formed in 1963 from the amalgamation of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Radio Engineers, IEEE is today the world's largest association of technical professionals. Its objectives encompass the educational and technical advancement of electrical and electronic engineering, telecommunications, computer engineering, and allied disciplines — serving members across hundreds of chapters worldwide.
Founded on 6 March 1965 by a group of computer professionals, CSI has grown into the national body representing all computer professionals across India. With 72 chapters, 511 student branches, and over 1,00,000 members, CSI is committed to advancing theory and practice in Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Processing, and related sciences. The society fosters integrity, professional competence, and partnership among its members through conferences, seminars, and chapter-level events.
Founded in 1982 in Chennai following a resolution at the International Seminar on 'Modernization of Concrete Practices' jointly organised by SERC and Anna University, ICI serves engineers in concrete construction and research across India. ICI imparts training in evolving concrete technologies, promotes research, publishes journals on findings and practical solutions, and collaborates with construction agencies, researchers, and associated manufacturers to advance the adoption of modern practices.
