The NSS unit of the institution consists of 100 socially sensitive students with a deep sense of service participating in various community welfare activities with enthusiasm and dedication.
With the continuous support of the Management, the club enhances social awareness and responsibility through seminars on Personality Development, Eye Donation Awareness, Organ Donation Initiatives, Videography and Photography activities.
The unit actively encourages students to develop leadership qualities, teamwork, social responsibility and commitment towards nation building through regular extension and outreach programmes.
The Red Cross is an international humanitarian organisation dedicated to providing selfless service without discrimination based on religion, politics or community.
The main objective of the Youth Red Cross of our college is to promote blood donation activities. A well-defined Blood Donors’ Club functions actively within the campus and takes care of blood grouping, blood donation camps and awareness programmes.
On an average, nearly 80–100 units of blood are donated every semester. The YRC unit was inaugurated in August 2003 with various humanitarian and healthcare objectives.
